Gameplay
Global
- Redrew and expanded the sprites of all characters to more closely resemble the sprite art style of "MegaMan Zero." As a result the gameplay is smoother feeling, leading to an overall better gameplay experience
- Redrew the level "Simulation Arena" tileset and added background elements
- Rebalanced enemy HP and Player damage/energy points values
- Added a windowboxing effect to maintain camera bounds while on higher screen resolutions
In order to send home the design goal of mimicking the action of the Kamen Rider series' of the 2000s a new playable character has been added: Cyber Hunter Ace.
Ace's ability kit is a direct copy of Blade's abilities from the series "Kamen Rider Blade" including various Card based abilities as well as Blade's signature card combo attack mechanic.

- New playable character Cyber Hunter Ace
- New ability system: Card Selector - buff attacks and combine cards to defeat enemies with powerful abilities
Audio
General
- Added an audio system that can play music, sounds, and voice clips with independently adjustable volume
- Added sound effects for many gameplay elements and menu actions such as attacking and highlighting menu buttons. Character related sound effects are inspired by the sounds of "Kamen Rider Ryuki"
- Added Music to "Stage Select" screen and the level "Simulation Arena"
UI
Menus
- Added video controls to change screen aspect ratio and resolutions
- Added an "Options" menu screen where you can adjust audio volume and controls. Moved "Controls" button to Options menu
- Renamed "Default Hero" to "V1" on the Character Select screen and added "Ace" as a selectable character
- Added a "Confirm Character Selection" pop up when selecting a character that includes a "Skill List" screen as seen in the Pause menu
- Renamed "Level 1" to "Simulation Arena" with a level description
- Removed the pre-game controls screen and replaced it with a brief transformation sequence on level start
- Removed all objective UI to battle areas and changed the enemy spawning system to be a specified number of waves
